The ANSA Board wishes to acknowledge the nurses of South Africa for their dedication and exceptional service during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many nurses lost their lives and others are still actively involved in preventive, curative and rehabilitative interventions to relief the devastation caused by the pandemic.
During the pandemic many activities were postponed and delayed. The ANSA Board is therefore pleased to invite nominations for ANSA fellows to be submitted before 31 January 2021. We envisage inauguration of the new fellows during a prestigious event in May 2021.
The required guidelines and documentation are available below.
Prof Lizeth Roets, Dr Peggy Naicker, Ms Elgonda Bekker and Kim Davies were inaugurated as Fellows of the Academy of Nursing in South Africa during a prestigious awards breakfast on 5 September 2019. Their expertise and contribution to the art and science of nursing include occupational health, critical care, nursing management, nursing education and research.
We welcome them to the ANSA fraternity and invite them to continue taking a leadership role with innovation and evidence-based contributions to the science and practice of the profession
