Dr Sue Armstrong has been a strong advocate for quality assurance in education and practice throughout her career. Her level of energy, focus and leadership galvanised nurse educators and other practitioners on their journeys towards becoming more effective practitioners in their chosen pathways. Her work on standard setting and quality assurance is exemplary and she played an active role in the process of developing the National Core Standards. Dr Armstrong has extensive experience in adult teaching, strategy and policy development in both education and clinical practice. She has been instrumental in developing appropriate responses to address the current challenges in the education sector.
