Dr Sharon Vasuthevan is one of the founding members of the Academy of Nursing in South Africa and served as the first Deputy President of the organization.
She is currently the Deputy President of the South African Health Information Association on Nursing Informatics and a research associate at NMU since 2019.
She previously worked as the Nursing a Quality Executive at the Life Healthcare group managing Nursing, Education, Quality and Research.
She is a Nursing Education and Management specialist
She is the author of several nursing books including her latest book on Information Systems in Nursing published in 2024 for nurses.
